Tip # 3: Remember English words using pictures
It might seem inappropriate for adults but this, I think, is a better way to memorize vocabulary for both young and adult English learners. It could be quite boring to just try to learn a long list of words without any context. Why not look for a vocabulary book or material with colorful pictures? According to one study, learning vocabulary with pictures can make it more interesting and easier to understand since we respond better to images than to words or text. Like this set of vocabulary about describing people's appearance. All you need to do is to add the word after, "He/She is..." (She is slim.) or "He/She has..." (He has a long nose.)
