When should we use IN?
- when something or someone is inside something
- in enclosed space: box, bag, room, house
Ex: She always studies in her room.
- in large spaces: country, city, continent
Ex: I grew up in Australia.
- in water: sea, river, pool, beach
Ex: The kids are swimming in the pool.
- in liquids: water, milk, coffee, juice
Ex: I don't like cream in my coffee.
- in printed materials: paper, newspaper, picture, book

When should we use AT?
- when you're not inside or on top of something
- when you're at an exact position
Ex: The delivery guy is waiting at the door.
- at events: concert, gathering, party
Ex: Maroon 5 performed at her wedding.
- exact addresses (house or apartment or building number is included)
Ex: I live at Lot 2, Block 3 Summer Homes, Green Street.
- public places and shops (stores, stations, supermarkets, restaurants, etc)
Ex: Can we stop at the supermarket to buy something?
- places where we do regular things (school, university, work, home)
