	What is a head teacher? Like other freelance online ESL teachers in the PSM community, a head teacher also teaches ESL online. Head teachers are not members of the PSM staff. There are certain qualifications that PSM has set for teachers to become a head teacher. These qualifications include being an active member of PSM for a certain period and having a number of regular classes through PSM. Just like with any other teachers in the community, PSM does not get involved in monetary transactions with head teachers. What does a head teacher do? 1. Online ESL class Like other teachers in PSM, a head teacher conducts online ESL classes, but they are quite popular so they don't usually have available time for new classes. However, if you are lucky, you might be able to book classes with a head teacher. 2. Manages Online ESL Teachers in PSM There are many advantages to having a head teacher. 1) Provides service to find the proper teacher! You can get assistance from getting a free level test to looking for a teacher to have regular classes with. If you do it without a head teacher, you'll have to find a teacher by checking the teacher's profiles and contacting directly. In some cases, you may not get a reply from a teacher or the communication between might not gp smoothly. Also, it's not easy to find a teacher who fits your preferences. However, if you find one through a head teacher, you can easily solve this problem. 2) Change Teachers Easily! If you don't like the class or you want to change your teacher, you can easily change through a head teacher. However, if you do it on your own, you might feel embarrassed to tell your teacher directly. If you do it through a head teacher, you don't have to worry at all. 3. No additional charge. How much will be the rate of the class under a head teacher? There are different rates per class depending on a teacher. Every teacher might have a different rate. Whether a student finds a teacher on his own or through a head teacher, the student will pay the same amount. Head teachers not only manage students but also teachers. Some teachers who want to focus only on teaching or having classes, pay a certain amount to find a student through a head teacher. PSM is also not and will not be involved in any monetary transactions between head teachers and teachers. PSM continues to recruit head teachers. Since head teachers serve as representatives of teachers in PSM, they have to meet certain qualifications to become one.
