Remember if the pronoun is "he/she/it" your verb should have a "s/es" and if your pronoun is "I/we/you/they" there is NO "s/es" but when the teacher told you about it you were able to correct yourself in the following questions~ And you were able to make great questions~ Very good~! Keep up the good work~
