Speaking/Pronunciation/Reading Hael has gradually gained confidence while speaking, and her speech’s pace, rhythm, and flow have improved significantly compared to our previous classes. She is now using expanded and complex sentences to express herself verbally. Please take note of the following vocabulary words for pronunciation. Desert- /de-zurt/ an area, often covered with sand or rocks, where there is very little rain and not many plants Underground- /un-duh-grownd/ beneath the surface of the earth Tournament- /tur-nuh/mhnt/- a competition held among different teams in a particular game Falls - /faalz/- the body of water falls over a rocky ledge into a plunge pool below Grammar You said: In desert is not water and plants. It is all the sand. Correct: There is no water or plants in the desert. It's all sand. You said: The princes live in Castle. Correct: Castle is where the princes live. You said: She is working in the computer. Correct: She is working on a computer. She is working with a computer. Overall feedback. Hael is able to get a general idea of the lesson, especially the short story, and pick up more detailed information about the vocabulary words. However, she should be aware of using is, are, to, and into in sentences. She is able to recognize and use various vocabulary words connected to the lesson. She performed incredibly in class.
