We make the -ing form by adding -ing to the base verb and adjusting the spelling as necessary:

We use the -ing form in various ways as shown below.

The -ing form is used in past, present and future continuous tenses,

-ing Form for Present Continuous Tenses (talking about things that are in progress now)

for example:

I'm studying English

she's watching tv

We're having class at the moment

-ing form for Present Perfect continuos( talking about actions that started in the past and still on progress now

ex:

I've been thinking a lot about this decisions

-ing form Past Continuos (things that were progress in the past )

ex:

when I came home last night ,you were already sleeping

I found 50,000 won on the street while I was jogging in the park

-ing Form Future Continuos (be going to = will )

ex:

I'm sorry ,I can't meet you tomorrow afternoon, I'm going to meet my friend at the airport.
