rough – not even or smooth, often because of being in bad condition

smooth – having a surface or consisting of a substance that is perfectly regular and has no holes, lumps, or areas that rise or fall suddenly

taste buds – a group of cells, found especially on the tongue, that allow different tastes to be recognized

flavor – how food or drink tastes, or a particular taste itself

pinch – to press something, especially someone's skin, strongly between two hard things such as a finger and a thumb, usually causing pain
